Rory began his career as a founder of a tech-savvy music & media company, The Militia Group, out of his USC dorm room. Within a few short years, utilizing innovative digital strategies and marketing programs, the company signed dozens of artists, grew to a team of ten, and became a partnership with Sony Music.  He went on to sell millions of products, received an RIAA Certified Gold Record subsequently leading Sony to acquire the major assets.  One of his highlights was leading the team and campaign that launched a first of its kind MTV reality show ‘Band in a Bubble’ sponsored by Dr. Pepper that took over Pier 54 in New York.

Following his passion for innovation, Rory was recruited to join the leadership at Chirpify, a digital marketing and loyalty platform.  He quickly scaled the product and business to dozens of major partners including Marriott, Adidas, Oreo, Green Day, Warner Bros, Universal Music, and to millions of connected consumers.   He ideated and executed groundbreaking marketing programs including Green Day’s album launch on Twitter during MTV’s VMA’s, and Oreo’s broadcast & social campaign #SendMeOreo during the Grammys that reached tens of millions of impressions.

Realizing it might be his last opportunity to live his dream of serving in Haiti, he took a role as Managing Director of Haiti Venture Partners, an impact investment fund focused on clean water and energy.  During his time he created over 100 jobs and brought clean drinking water to a population over 100,000.
